Love Is War Speed Art

VanaN'Ice Last Color Album: Review

I would spend two thousand yen just for LOVELESSxxx on its own.
KAITO [Blue] Len [Blonde] Gakupo [Purple]
5/5 Stars
As one who seemingly avoids love songs, thoroughly enjoying a whole album about love really takes the cake. Last Color takes love songs onto a whole new level. Forbidden love. As one who reads and translates Japanese, it is easy for me to pick out the various heart-breaking meanings, it is much harder for someone who doesn't understand Japanese - though they have sub for that. My favourite song is "LOVELESSxxx" which is about two men who are protectors of boy, but they have to hide their love. Rather the Romeo and Juliet kind of play - ugh, I detest Romeo and Juliet. I remember listening to "LOVELESSxxx" for the first time, and as much as it hurts for a man to admit it, I cried when finding out the Kagmine Len had killed himself to allow KAITO and Camui Gakupo to love each other freely. Shakespeare, take some notes here and rewrite Romeo and Juliet. I'm not kidding, I thought my body was going to turn to ash within in Personal Finance lesson back in 2014. My second favourite song is the fourth track, "The Lost Memory, The Immoral Memory". As I said before, I translate and this was the first song from VanaN'Ice that I had crafted an English version, here is the first line. "Dyed into sepia, a scene I can see, so confusing. I wish to return." Just from that, it shows it's going to be a heart-breaking song. Just from Gakupo saying he saw something that he wished he didn't want to. "As I gaze upon the sky, I see an afternoon filled with my grief. I just can't take it." Is what KAITO follows Gakupo with and if that isn't a stab to the heart, I don't know what is. It's like watching the fan animations of Servant of Evil by Mothy.

If you love listening to heart-wrenching songs in Japanese, please, you have to listen to the album. OR you can support Seven Color Light by buy the 2012 album for only 2,000. Hell, I would spend two thousand yen just for LOVELESSxxx on its own.

The Writer's Journal

For me it's not a book, but instead my Google Drive. The digital folders allow me to save my prompts and ideas for me to use where ever I need or want to. It's not one big file taking up megabytes of my storage, no, it's a folder riddled with various Google Doc files labelled with appropriate titles and ordered alphabetically.

I use my Google Drive for prompts, ideas and organised files and folders of various characters and pre-started books. One of the reasons I use it is because I only write when I have access to the internet, and a Google Drive allows me to have the updated version of my work at all times instead of having to carry flash drives with me just encase I have a breakthrough. As for the reason I have my journal digitalised, it purely stops me from drawing left eyes all over the pages of a book - I have an obsession. And if it isn’t eyes, then it’s theories from either my boyfriend’s DND roleplay or that from The Evillious Chronicles [a story about The Seven Deadly Sins by Akuno-P].

You may find scraps of paper scattered in my average teenage boy's room, but those are only quick ideas I write down before I log into my laptop and go to my Drive. Besides, most of those page scraps have more than likely escaped from my toppled over bin. Yes I know, I'm bad because I put paper in the bin - but only AFTER I've typed the ideas up.

My Google Drives keeps everything, it keeps me organised like a posh snob who has to have everything clean and sorted. Organisation, I believe is key to a good journal, which is why I can’t have a book - I’d get too frustrated trying to find Snooty in the Apocalypse. It also refrains me from having notes here and there in a book from where I’d fill out a whole page and then have to continue a few pages after because I’ve decided to art up my book with those damn eyes - I’m not kidding, I have a real obsession.

You see, a journal needs not the eyes of one's peers, that's why mine is locked up with a password which is more than eight characters long with a number and a capital letter.

Rikimaru Takeshi post.

I haven't done much art for Takeshi lately, except for this past week. So I roleplay with one of my best friends. And in our latest RPs, Takeshi has gone a little crazy. Also his sister swapped their crowns so now he's an ice elemental. He gained a teddy bear as well, which was a bear his mother gave him when he was a child. The whole reason why he's gone a bit crazy is because his female counterpart has entered his universe when she wasn't meant to. It started on Febuary 14 while at dinner with Francis, Benjamin and Douglas [not my OCs]. His female counterpart, Katie, came to town, and it was then Takeshi started feeling ill. His head began hurting and when Katie came close to see if there was anything she or her fiancé could do to help. Since that moment, Takeshi started getting worse and worse, to the point where he walked to a balcony in the castle and fell off it on purpose. It is then Takeshi reveils that Katie is not meant to be there as she is not in her own timeline, but instead Takeshi's timeline.

The last image is something I did because of the song Bad End Night. I also drew YukiSora [Takeshi's twin sister]. Takeshi is meant to be the doll boy, Yuki is the doll girl. Their father, Hikaru is the master, their mother was the mistrice. Their maid, Katrina is the maid [oh fancy that]. Long lost sister Kuro as the butler [gender blocks nothing]. Ezmarelda as what ever part Luka plays. And Lucan as the village boy that visits the Rikimaru manor.
